For example, a new alignment-checking device will teach students to create and examine mages on a computer screen. It gives real-life, 3D images and will train students how to measure and adjust it.
Superintendent Glen A. Miller says that everyone at CCHS is given the foundation they need to be college and career ready after graduation. The new technology center principal, the high school principal and all of the teachers are working together to give students the best possible outcome after high school.
Miller said the next level - meaning after high school - varies from kid to kid, but they are working to get as many kids into college as possible, whether its a 2 year school or a 4 year school. CCHS principal Renee Boots stresses that the technology center helps kids prepare for additional training when they graduate high school.
ATC Principal Joseph Amann says the differences between the new and old technology center is is a stark contrast. As of right now, the old technology center doesnt have the space to give each program its own classroom and work area. With the new ATC, each program has plenty of room and wont have to share it with another classroom.
