Says production editor Tim Bruxvoort, "Not having the limitations of printed media, Outer Beauty has several advantages over traditional beauty magazines. Traditional print magazines that are converted for use on the Apple Newsstand don't take advantage of all the capabilities available. They simply transfer their existing layout directly and that hasn't been very well received. Outer Beauty is more like a website experience people have grown accustomed to and like."
