(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 10, 2013 ) St. Paul, MN -- MAC Music Accessories has signed on The Manchester Social Club's front man Nate Beck as the company's Chief Brand and Culture Officer. In this role, Nate will ensure the brand remains authentic to contemporary musicians; both hobbyists and professional. He'll make his MAC Music Accessories debut in a how-to video series, scheduled for release in October 2013.
"MAC Music Accessories is delighted to have Nate with us, representing the authenticity, durability and functionality of the brand," says Stacey Marmolejo, MAC Music Accessories President. "I can't imagine anyone better to represent us to the public or keep us real than an up-and-coming professional musician like Nate."
A resident of Southern California, Nate grew up in the Midwest music hub of Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota; home to singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, iconic Grammy-award-winning Prince, hip hop artist Brother Ali, alternative rock pioneers The Replacements and Grammy-winning producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
While in High School, Nate Beck and his band toured south from the Twin Cities to Austin Texas and east to Philadelphia PA where he shared the stage with Dropkick Murphy and Devo. After graduating from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists High School, Nate moved to L.A. where, within a year, he and his then-band were nominated for an L.A. Music Award in the Rock Single of the Year category.
Now, in addition to recording and performing live, Nate's music is licensed to several television shows. Nate and The Manchester Social Club are currently working on a new album that is expected to be released in Austin Texas during SXSW 2014.
"I've signed on with MAC Music Accessories because the SpeedPro Clip On Tuner delivers all that is promised. They invited me to put the SpeedPro to the test and had a video team on site to capture whatever I wanted to try. The durability of the tuner really surprised me. And that's when I knew I wanted to be involved with MAC.
"I asked MAC Music Accessories to release the test videos so that consumers can see for themselves what I experienced and they agreed. How many companies agree to show that their product being broken? Next month, when the videos are released, you'll see what it takes to break a SpeedPro," said Nate Beck.
"I also like the fact that in this everything-is-someone-else's fault' society, MAC Music Accessories stands behind its tuner with a three year, free guarantee. I don't know any other tuner that provides that," Nate added. "Deliver a great product and stand behind it. That's the kind of brand I want to be affiliated with."
