Waterford, MI Airplane hangar painting is not a task which should be attempted by a novice according to Mike Deluca, CEO of Golden Touch Painting & Drywall. He made his remarks to the National Real Estate Network, LLC, a group of real estate experts and investors. Deluca should know, as he has two decades experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting. He has been acclaimed by many as Michigans premier painter. Consider epoxy flooring, for example, Deluca added. There are super-resilient formulas on the market now which are ideal for the flooring in a typical hangar. Heavy metal parts can be dragged across a modern epoxy floor and not leave a mark, he emphasized. In the past people were hesitant to use epoxy where oils and other lubricants would provide a slippery surface and create potential liability problems. An experienced professional painter knows precisely which formula to select so that the surface would be far more safe than conventional cement flooring, he explained. He continued: A word of warning however. The installation of epoxy flooring requires one hundred percent removal of all existing surface soils such as grease or oil. Often they have to removed by diamond grinding, or other aggressive grinders or sanders. This specialized knowledge is not within the scope of a novice.
Deluca went on to explain that when a commercial painter is done painting an airplane hangar, it will instill a sense of pride in the owner that would be unmatched by any other method.
