In Real Estate starting in the fall of 2013. The program will be geared toward attracting the college student to the profession through in-depth comprehensive study of the real estate industry.
The curriculum will cover vast and varying aspects of the entire industry, and will find ways to blend in NYU liberal arts programming to the in-depth immersion of the broad array of professionally focused courses that will be sure to add both experience along with theoretical intellectual discussion on the many aspects of the endeavor.
Faculty will include distinguished professionals within the industry, and courses will include engaging work along with real-life estate industry events and problem-solving. Courses will include not only the basics of understanding, but finance, law, marketing analysis, and leasing option consideration for students to partake in.
Also involved will be students studying key aspects of the real estate development process, and understanding the finer points of portfolio management. Students will also be expected to examine and cultivate understanding of sustainability and how the endeavor is transforming the entire industry.
